(Music--Dirty Little Secret--All-American Rejects)So, I was hanging with friends and got a phone call from my former employer Securitas. I was just going to ignore the call but they left a message so I decided to call them back. It turns out the call was to see if I could work (Ok, so you are probably thinking " and..." So I will explain the whole story into why this is funny. About five months ago, I went on vacation from my job at the bank for a week to spend time with Sara. The day she was supposed to go home she got sick and we had to go to the hospital and I found out my mom was really sick. I called my work and left a message explaining I would need extra time off to take care of Sara and my Mom, which my job responded by saying if you don't come to work in three days it would be considered "Voluntary Termination" AKA being fired without us paying unemployment...). I just stood there in awe for a second with my mouth opened and the only thing I could tell the guy was I couldn't work and hang up. I figured it was a fluke or the guy just had an old call list BUT I got another call from another person (Serious how is this company run smoothly if they never clean out their employee database).D

(Music--Everything Burns--Ben Moody)I made it through a whole week of the RV Show (Of course, I spent 95 percent of the time in the office helping out so maybe that had something to do with it).The only major thing I had to deal with was a new Country station's sticker stop (like what the Northwest needs is another country station) and money give away. They seriously had no idea what they were doing and really underestimated how many people showed up (unless you ask them then they give some bullshit number). I ended up having to stay an hour longer just to make sure everything went ok (the worst part is I honestly don't think they give a shit about their listeners, for the simply reason that when it got close to the stop ending they just wanted me to lie and tell people it was over so they wouldn't have to deal with anymore cars, So sad).D

Ok, I found Pandora through a Podcast called Inside The Net (you should check it out). Pandora is a Streaming radio station site, which lets you create your own radio station to play music you like but it also plays music that sounds close to the artists you choose (and if you know the right place to look you can find a hack that will help you increase your music library too).D

(Music--Am to Pm--Christina Milian)Well, well, well, I survived another year without being run over by a car, being arrested and I still have no kids (Too bad other people can't say that). I spent my New Years Night drinking and playing video games (bet that is really shocking, or not). Unlike most people I didn't make any resolutions for the year, because honestly most resolution made will fail due to the same reason most diets fail. They are way too strict and the person feel overwhelmed causing them to quit. I prefer to have simple guidelines which can actually be followed (But that is my opinion).Tomorrow I will be working the Tacoma RV Show once again. They have some really nice RVs, I just hope it is better then previous years. Well expect more and better posts this year (Of course, I promise neither).D

Ugh! I went to the Tacoma Dome/Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center Christmas party, which was more like a party for the head guys to pat each other on the back then a multi-faculty Christmas party (Blah, blah, yes you are all the shit). It had everything you would expect to be at some rich business party (Waiters, Rich people food and full dinner place settings.) I stayed long enough to eat; talked to some people from work; found out I didn't win anything in the raffle and then I bailed. Maybe next year I should wear a suit and tie so I can fit in.Any freaking way,D

I am finally done with all the high school events for this month. Well that pretty much covers how it went (also known as slow, boring, cold and annoying). The only good part of the night was after work a couple of us went to The Strap and stayed until the place closed.Wednesday is the Tacoma Dome Christmas party being held at the new Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center. Lastly, I have to work the Mega-Liquidation sale at the end of the week. This show is slow and most the stuff is either broke, ghetto or sold out in like three seconds. the only good thing is it is the last event of the year (YAY!!)D

My Favorite statement of the week "It is snowing like it is winter", (Umm... isn't it winter?)For about the last month I have been addicted to Magic Online and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy, so it is good that there isn't much going on at work (but it also means the paycheck sucks).Thanksgiving was quiet, just chilled at home. I almost did the Black Friday early morning shopping spree to grab a cheap laptop, but at the last minute I came to my senses (Wow, I am glad I did.)Last week and this week is High School football, which isn't totally a bad thing it is basically the fact that of the people who come to these event are the *cough*"Cool"*cough* people who think that they are the greatest thing in life and think everyone needs to know that.Anyway,D

Yes, I know it has been a little while (oh come on your not really surprised). So since I posted lasted I have worked two country concerts, a gemfaire and a baseball card/coin show. The first concert was a Firefighters Concert (you know, they call and ask for money and in return you get tickets to this) starring Joe Diffie ( Don't worry I got no idea who he is either). The worst part is this event always brings out the dumbest people ( I am not kidding, I was standing in front of the Tacoma Dome and someone asked me where it was). Then there is the Gem Faire whose customer base is a cross between Cheap Hippies and Housewives (who all think I care about their thoughts on parking prices and how evil it is to be charging them. Of course the fact that I at sitting in a booth outside with no heat or power seems to totally elude their common sense, which should be alerting them to the fact of I CAN"T DO SHIT ABOUT ANY PRICE THEY HAVE TO PAY).Next up was the Rascal Flatts concert (can anyone explain the extra T to me?) , who fan base seems to be a bunch of beer taste tester with self important issue (Because the "I'm too sexy for my 4x4" crowd was pretty much drunk before, during and after). Lucky me, though I work in the Premium Parking so I get to listen to everyone try to stuck their way in for free (Story of the Night: Chick drives in and tries to pretend she just lost her parking pass, after pretty much shutting her down she then tries to fake turning around and she parks and starts walking away from her car. I just simply grab my cell and said "I'm going to have you towed", she ran to her car so fast I couldn't help but laugh. As she left she called me an asshole and flipped me off. HOW RUDE!)Finally there was the Baseball card/Coin show. The way these people act you would think they were carrying millions of dollars in merchandise (just a little tip: The 90's called they want their hobby back). Honestly, barely anyone shows up for this show so there isnt much to say about. So now you are all caught up!!D
